There are several Malls with Sears, Penny's, Mervyns and other major anchor stores. Loews
and Home Depot are available and Costco is also in Medford on Crater Lake Highway.
Oregon does not currently charge a sales tax!

The Medical community in Medford is represented by Rogue Valley Medical. It is operated by
Asante, www.asante.org. LifeFlight helicopter transport service is available from Rocky Bar
for an annual subscription of $25 per family. This transport may be directed to Redding, Ca. or
to Medford, Or. depending upon circumstances.
Entertainment
Both Ashland and Medford offer opera, theatre and motion picture theatres.
Transportation
The Rogue Valley Airport has excellent air service to Portland, Seattle, Denver, San Francisco
and Los Angeles.
Driving time from Rocky Bar to Medford is appx 90 minutes via Hwy 96 and Interstate 5.
